We have been at this location three times over the past 13 years (once per trip to NYC). Service and cuts have always been great, but the best part of the experience has always been Getulio (Gaucho). Kudos to him, Humberto, and Larry for making my daughter's first experience great one! Obrigado!
This is definitely one of my favorites and what a Brazilian steakhouse should be! We called ahead at the last minute and were pleasantly greeted on the phone and told to come on over. We asked about dress code and they told us not to worry. We make a point to come here every time we are in New York City. Upon arrival we were quickly seated and the staff went to work making sure that we were happy and comfortable. The national drink of Brazil is a Caipirinha and it was made to perfection! A beautiful salad bar, I noticed it had been paired back a little bit, but all my favorites were still there, including artichokes, hearts of palm, mozzarella balls and tomato, cheeses, Brazilian beans and rice to name a few. A wonderful meat selection, with everyone of them prepared perfectly! Filet mignon, House, garlic, beef, chicken, sausages, chicken hearts, beef sirloin, lamb, and I can't even remember the rest! The restaurant is very nice, intimate feel, with linen tablecloths and is a fine dining experience. Live music available after 6 PM daily. Happy hour at the bar in the afternoon, where you can get cocktails at discount rates, but no food. While this restaurant can be a little pricey, It is a one price per person meal for as much as you want and we didn't ask, but were offered the senior discount rate! LOL - so don't be shy about asking for this discount if you warrant it! You must come here if you have the opportunity! What more can I say?
My friend and I came here for Restaurant Week dinner. This included selection of unlimited meats, sides, buffet offerings, as well as salad bar, for $60. The interior was elegant and spacious with plenty of seating, along with impressive island buffet in the center. Upon being seated, we were served warm cheese bread, which was tasty with a satisfying stickiness. For our sides, we chose Yuca Fries, Fried Bananas, Polenta. I enjoyed the Yuca Fries, which were crispy and full of flavor. Surprisingly, I also liked the Fried Bananas (as not a fan of the fruit), which were light with a nice crunch. There was an extensive salad bar, along with quite a few options at the buffet, including cheese and cured meats, soup, shrimp, chicken, veggies, and more. Out of the various meats, my absolute favorites were Top Sirloin, Leg of Lamb, and Beef ancho with Garlic. These were wonderfully tender, succulent, and well seasoned. Service was solid. Restaurant staff came around often with different meats. We were well taken care of and am glad I got to experience this Brazilian steakhouse.
Rodizio is always a bit of a gamble. Will they cook the meat right? Will they skimp on cuts? Will they have a full bar? Guide you to fill up on salad? This place threads the needle. Every bit of the rodizio was amazing. Chicken thighs, sausage, lamb. When it came to steak, there was real sirloin and real filet. Bacon wrapped! Best thing was the Parmesan crusted pork. Had the flourless chocolate cake as a treat. 3 thumbs up!
Like I mentioned previously, this place never fail me. Last week my friend from outside NYC was visiting and would like to hang out in a good food/drink and a chill atmosphere place. So I suggested this place. My friend loved it very much, experienced some food/appetizers that she's never had before and the drinks at the bar were delicious. The people that works in this place clearly care about their customer and to Bruna and Tilly for making the delicious passion fruit caipirinha and margarita we would come back again.
Excellent meat and service each time I have been here. Love how tender the prime rib is. Beautiful space inside, wish they had more decorations for the winter time though, seems it's just around the front and salad bar. Also wish they labeled their food. I love the amount of hot sides they offer. I will be back again!
This place was so amazing! I came here for restaurant week, and was blown away. The service was a 10/10! It's a beautiful restaurant, with a piano in the dining room. The servers were all so attentive to the needs of my party, including the children. They kept everything full. The meats were so good! We had a little bit of everything, and it was soo worth each and every bite. They have a full salad bar full of both hot and cold food, and the prie fix menu came with a couple of sides for the table. The meat were delicious and plentiful, i didn't have a chance to take pics of what i ate lol. I managed to grab a photo of the desserts that were included. That lemon tart/pie was amazing. And my friend loved the tiramisu as well. Highly recommend! The staff were all amazing, and so was the food. 10/10. See pics below.
This place is really good for big groups, especially if you are celebrating a birthday or special occasion! This restaurant is huge, especially given NYC restaurant sizes these days. The all you can eat meat was incredible and the servers came around pretty consistently. I only got a picture of the cheesecake at the end because I literally inhaled my food haha! Would definitely recommend trying this place out!
